How to stand out from competitors
If you're a local business owner you probably know these guys: competitors
And you may even get objections from leads that are like:
'X competitor does it cheaper'
'But why would I choose you over X competitor?'
Which is not what you want, especially as a business.
But I am going to show you one thing to make you incomparable to competitors who don't have this.
And it's called this:
A USP or Unique Selling Proposition.
But what exactly is it? Well it's the exact thing that makes YOU different from the guy next door selling the same thing.
So instead of telling people 'Hey, we do your plumbing needs. Call us here' it's '24/7 Plumbing, call us and we will get there within 2 hours. Guaranteed'.
See how the second tells people that they should be going to them instead of the guy who just sells plumbing. This is a USP.
You give customers a unique offer that competitors won't do. And it can give you the upper hand in many situations, especially if you're confident you can do the offer you sell.
So ask yourself this: 'What really makes me different from people selling the exact same things?'
And if you can't find an answer, you should make a USP that tells leads that you're better than people who don't have a USP at all, or don't offer a better deal.
And then use this USP to make you stand out from others.
